Homemade Hummus with Pita
 
Ingredients
  • 1 can chick peas
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 12 whole pitas
  • ½tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ lemon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 pinch oregano
Instructions
  1. Place chickpeas in food processor with 2 tbsp olive oil. Pulse until creates a smooth consistency. Add garlic, juice from lemon salt and pepper.
  2. Brush pita with olive oil and toast on medium in toaster oven. Remove, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and oregano and cut into eighths.
  3. You can serve with carrots and snap peas too!
